Well here we go first blog at the ready! Apparently blogging is where it's at, so here I am posting my first message. It's a bit like stepping into the unknown is this!
I'm so glad to see that Summer is finally on it's way and that the poppies are emerging in our garden. How I love my poppies so. Last May 2009, I managed to miss the majority of my poppies splendour as it was spent in a mad panic at our local hospital after our baby daughter was born 3 months premature. Thankfully all is well now, but what a trying time that was. Looking at the poppies emerging now, reminds me of how far we have come as a family in the last 12 months and how many life changing moments have shaped me as a person, and a designer over the last year.
Well, after such a miserable time with the weather over the last few months, it's been hard to even imagine where my inspiration has come from for all my maztex designs bridal jewellery, accessories and favours this last 6 months. Pleasingly I still have many ideas up mys sleeve and find that my hands cannot manipulate the crystals and wire quick enough. Maybe a poppy inspired range of accessories is on the cards.... I wonder how many customers would be up for that?!
