Well my health has taken quite a knock lately, and I'm now inrecovery from emergency spinal surgery (L4/L5 spinal decompression, laminectomy and discectomy.) I am mostly housebound at the moment which is very frustrating. It has now been just over 2 weeks since I was taken in for the above emergency surgery. At first everything seemed to be easing off pain-wise but I now have pain in the hip and leg returning and a few back spasms of the last week.
I have recently discovered the power of seed bead weaving as an artful-distraction to my discomfort and after several failed attempts I am now getting to grips with peyote, brick and herringbone stitch!
I have also found out that two of my wirework designs from July this year have made the finals of competitions. That is nice to know and spurs me onwards!
Oh and finally... the grace tiara continues to be my website best seller for 2010.
